Water cooling computers started with mainframes back before what we know today as the home PC. When home users started to water cool their PCs, there weren’t anything in the stores sold as a package deal, so items such as car’s heater coil, fish...
Cooling off your computer's processor provides plenty of benefits, namely extending the chip's life and, for the enthusiast, a bit of extra headroom before a processor overheats during yet another overclocking session.

I purchased this cooler about 3 months ago. I set it up in a Thermaltake Armor case on a Intel Q6600.
First thing is, the Thermaltake armor case does not use the wide screws to hold the 120mm fan in place. I had to drill out the holes to make this fit. This was the only issue that I had with this cooler.
I was able to change my clock from the 2.2g Q6600 up to 3.4g. My on load is 52c and idle is around the 32c mark. Since I dont do a whole lot other than play WoW on this machine, my temps rarely exceed 42c.
I would recommend this to anyone on a tight budget and looking to get into WC.
